These shorts keep my seat comfortable during intermediate rides (roughly 30 miles). I ordered a size small which is what I usually wear, I have a 29 inch waist. They are a chore to get around the hips as the waistband offers little flex. But once around my waist they fit true to the Nema sizing chart. The side pockets are located where they ought to be and keep small things secure. In the front are zippered "vents" which the groin area a little cooler, a nice added touch. -- Great for the Price
